Computer Teacher

Bryan Wyllie is originally from North Providence, RI, but moved to the Lake Ariel, PA area with his family when he was 7 years old which is when he started attending both Canaan Bible Chapel and Canaan Christian Academy as a 2^nd grade student.  Shortly before moving to the area, he was saved with the guidance of his mom after realizing his need for Jesus Christ to be his Savior. 

Bryan is a 2001 graduate of Canaan Christian Academy and a 2006 graduate of Clearwater Christian College with a B.S. in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, he felt the Lord calling him back home to PA where he taught 5^th grade at Canaan Christian Academy for 3 years and then various Junior High courses for 1 year.  In 2010, Bryan left CCA to become a 6th-grade math teacher at a cyber school where he remained for 14 years. During this time, he completed his M.S. in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University in 2015. 

During the winter of 2024, Bryan strongly felt the Lord guiding him back to CCA to fill the newly vacated Computer teacher position. Bryan is thrilled to be back at Canaan serving the Lord wherever He desires and is greatly looking forward to building relationships with the students at CCA!

He married Katie (Swingle) Wyllie (yes, the art teacher!) in 2009.  They have 3 children, Jacob, Carter, and Addy, all of whom attend Canaan Christian Academy.
